Relying on his visualist background, Brandon strives to create symbiosis between camera and subject, merging a sensibility for naturalism with heightened aesthetics.
Raised in Wyoming and now based between Los Angeles and Vancouver, Brandon’s credits span work as a director, photographer and cinematographer. His focus is on exploring stories centered on real people and the challenges they face through their unique histories and cultures. Brandon’s home is on the road - inspired by changing landscapes and the people that inhabit them.
Brandon’s films have screened at numerous domestic and international festivals, including the Academy and BAFTA-qualifying Los Angeles Short Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival and Aesthetica Short Film Festival. His work has been featured in publications such as Billboard, NPR, Pitchfork, The Fader, Adweek, Complex, Noisey and Booooom. His commercial credits include work for Amazon, Google, Facebook, Verizon, Samsung, Goldenvoice, Vans, Ugg and New York State.
